The cosmic big three

Three placements that shape almost everything.

Your sun is who you are, your moon is what you need, your rising is how you arrive. Together, the working trinity of your chart.

The Sun

Who you are

core identity · purpose · ego

The sun is the engine, the part of you that's been there since day one. Your essential nature, the thing you're here to express, the spotlight you can't help but step into.

Ask it → What did I come here to embody, no matter what?
The Moon

What you need

emotions · safety · the inner world

The moon is what comforts you, what you reach for when nobody's watching, the emotional climate you grew up in. The part of you most people don't see, but everyone close to you feels.

Ask it → What do I actually need to feel safe, full, and home?
The Rising

How you arrive

first impressions · style · approach

Your rising sign, the constellation cresting the horizon at your birth, is the mask, the doorway, the way the world meets you. The energy people feel before you say a word.

Ask it → How am I showing up, before I even open my mouth?

The full picture

Your natal wheel, read in full.

A natal chart maps where every planet was the moment you were born: sun, moon, and the personal planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars) that color your day-to-day, plus the outer planets that shape entire chapters of your life.

Each planet lives in a sign (how it expresses) and a house (where it shows up in your life: work, home, love, money, identity).

Moon · inner world
Mercury · mind
Venus · love & values
Mars · drive

Moon enters Scorpio. Tell the truth before noon.

A trine to Mars at 4:12am brings a clarity you can't talk yourself out of, even if you'd like to. Don't try to soften what you already know is real. The week's hinge is one honest sentence away.

What the chart is loud about →A Pisces Sun in the 12th gives you a quiet inner life that runs deeper than people see. The Leo rising is the lantern (bright, warm, hard to miss) so people don't realize you're an introvert until you've already gone home. Lean into that: be seen briefly, then disappear to recharge.

"
Came in for the freebie, stayed because the bit about my Cancer moon (water in a Leo body) explained 30 years of feeling private inside a loud package.

I'm a skeptic engineer. The Mercury-in-Aries piece about thinking faster than I can finish a sentence hit so hard my partner laughed.

The element balance read was the eye-opener: zero earth in my chart. Turns out chronically feeling unrooted is a feature, not a flaw. I just have to import it.

Common questions

Everything you'd want to know before you ask the sky.

What's the difference between my sun sign and my natal chart?
Your "sun sign" is one of ten planetary placements. It's where the sun was on the day you were born, your core identity. Your natal chart maps all ten planets across twelve signs and twelve houses, painting a much fuller picture of who you are, what you need, and how you operate.
Why does birth time matter so much?
The sky rotates a full 360° every 24 hours, which means your rising sign changes about every two hours. Without an accurate birth time, we can still give you sun and moon signs (with caveats), but your rising sign and house placements need precision. Within 30 minutes of accuracy is great; within an hour still works.
What if I don't know my exact birth time?
Check your birth certificate, or ask whoever was in the room. If neither is available, enter your best guess (or 12:00 noon) and we'll compute a "solar chart": every placement except rising and houses will still be accurate. You can update your time anytime to refine the read.
Is my birth data private?
Always. Encrypted at rest, delete-with-one-click. We use your data only to compute your chart and send you the reads you've asked for.
Is the natal chart actually free?
Yes. The full natal chart, your big three with interpretation, element balance, and a one-week sky read are all free. Deeper transit reads and ongoing guidance with our AI advisors are optional.
What if I'm a skeptic?
You're in good company. Many of our most loyal readers came in skeptical. Treat the chart as a thought experiment. See if anything lands. Discard whatever doesn't. The chart isn't asking you to believe in it; it's just sharing a different language for what you already half-know about yourself.
